Council Meeting Minutes

As the legislative branch of the City of Garfield government, the City Council holds open public meetings where local laws, policies, and basic decisions for the city are discussed and decided. City Council members are elected at large. 

Regular City Council Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:00 PM. The City Planning Commission Meetings are held the last Thursday of every month at 6:00 PM. All City meetings are held at Garfield City Hall, in the Alderman Terry Warren meeting room.

Notices are posted in the five public places of the City of Garfield. Those posting sites are as follows: Garfield City Hall, Flying RF Farm and Feed Store, Short Stop Grill, The Conoco Village Market, as well as in the lobby of the Garfield Post Office. All City meetings are recorded LIVE as well via the City of Garfield - City Hall Facebook page.
